About Beijing Capital International Airport
Long known as the "First Gateway to China," PEK is a massive aviation hub. Terminal 3, designed by Norman Foster, is one of the largest buildings in the world and is shaped like a dragon.
While many international flights moved to the new Daxing (PKX) airport, PEK remains the primary hub for the national flag carrier and is closer to the central business districts and the Great Wall.
